Inspired by the shapes of the Medusa jellyfish, each piece is grown over a period of 2 weeks, harvested, washed, dried and treated with natural waxes to preserve it. The roots form structures that are strong enough to support their own weight so they can easily be suspended on a couple of long fixings from a wall or with lightweight threads to hang invisibly in mid-air.

The pieces are grown in moulds carved from beeswax and no two pieces ever grow exactly the same but will appear as if from the same ‘family’.

Wall hangings are supplied with 2 or 3 hooks, fastened to the reverse and 5m of monofilament (please let us know if you have a particularly long drop so we can supply extra).
