The Reef Lamp Shade draws inspiration from the Giant Barrel Sponges of the Caribbean Sea. Roots grow with rippled, asymmetrical fins that evoke the ethereal beauty of the deep and form a ‘living vessel’ where the surface is a dense, intricate tapestry of unique, interwoven roots.
Woven by Nature
Grass root is cultivated on intricately carved, natural beeswax templates, allowing it to assume the shape of the templates as it grows. The fibres intertwine with each other, creating a robust, woven textile.
