Inspired by microscopic sea organisms known as diatoms, each pendant lamp is grown into unique shells of overlapping halves that fold around the light to display a complex network of organically woven roots.
The lamps function as individual pieces or as part of a larger installation.
Each is supplied with a 4-meter, black cotton or natural jute-covered cable.
Woven by Nature
Grass root is cultivated on intricately carved, natural beeswax templates. The plant roots intertwine with each other, creating a robust textile that assumes the shape of the template as it grows.

E14 screw fitting, supplied with Osram warm white LED bulb (2700k), 7W (equivalent to 60W halogen), dimmable with a 15,000-hour life span (almost 2 years of continuous light)
3-year guarantee, LEDVANCE energy rating E
Keep the root shade at least 3cm away from a bare bulb.
Not suitable for incandescent, compact fluorescent or halogen lightbulbs. Do not exceed 5 watts
Not suitable for use in damp conditions. Do not cover. Rating: IP20

Root textile is a natural fibre and, like a straw hat or a linen cloth, it will last for many years if kept from the elements. Any settled dust can be removed using a vacuum on a low suction setting or dusted with a soft brush.
