The Pod Lamp is an exploration of the quiet, regenerative rhythms of the earth, a study in how living systems shape material culture. Grown and then carefully crafted into its final form, it represents a tactile dialogue between the biological and the domestic, bridging natural growth processes and considered design. When lit, it emits a soft glow that gently illuminates the normally unseen architecture of plant root, revealing delicate patterns and textures. The lamps carry unique markings and subtle variations, giving each one a distinct character.

Care
Root textile is a natural fibre and, like a straw hat or a linen cloth, it will last for many years if kept from the elements. Any settled dust can be removed using a vacuum on a low suction setting or dusted with a soft brush.
