Nature to Nature Exhibition, 28 Mar - 31 Oct

Exhibition

Munkeruphus Art Centre presents a new collection by Rootfull, exhibiting from 28.03.26 - 31.10.26

The NATURE TO NATURE exhibition by Munkeruphus Art Centre is a snapshot of nature as it appears today – profoundly shaped by human activity. It makes visible how estranged we have become from our origins, while also pointing forward with new works and an extensive programme of workshops, talks, storytelling and educational activities.

The exhibition presents ten new works created specifically for the show by: Julia LohmannChris Liljenberg HalstrømJonas EdvardKarin LorentzenKasia GasparskiLine DeppingOscar YranSiska Katrine JørgensenTanja KirstTeis Dich Abrahamsen and Sus Osmark.

In addition, an installation by Jette Mellgren is on view, alongside existing works by Claudy Jongstra and Zena Holloway.

Visitors are invited to explore materials, processes and historical artefacts.

The guiding principle of the exhibition is that every element must be capable of returning to nature and fully decompose on site at the close of the event. These constraints revive forgotten knowledge, techniques, crafts and materials, bringing them back into the light with renewed cultural relevance.
