Rootfull at V&A Dundee

In collaboration with British designer Phoebe English, Rootfull grows a dress for V&A Dundee’s latest exhibition - Garden Futures: Designing with Nature.

Rootfull partnered with British designer Phoebe English to grow a stitch-free dress where bouncy root-grown lace is suspended from a ripped cotton strip bodice.

The Garden Futures exhibition delves into the history of modern garden design, revealing the vital role plants play in our everyday lives through surprising and often unexpected stories. Explore the evolution of garden design, where creativity, innovation, and nature collide. From spaces of sanctuary to test beds for experimentation, this immersive exhibition includes innovative work from leading artists, writers and designers.
